What XPOZ does not do

  • Does not store your IP address in any database or log we retain.
  • Does not fingerprint your browser or device.
  • Does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
  • Does not build a profile or link visits together.
  • Does not sell or share personal data, because it does not collect any.

How detection works

When you load XPOZ, our server reads the source address of your request and returns it to your browser along with network metadata provided by our edge network. The response is marked private and non-cacheable, and the value is discarded as soon as the response is sent.

Reverse DNS lookups

If you view network details, XPOZ may perform a public PTR lookup for your address using a public DNS resolver. This is a standard, read-only DNS query and no record of it is retained by XPOZ.

Preferences stored locally

Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. It is never transmitted to us and clearing your browser data removes it.

Advertising

XPOZ currently serves no advertising and loads no third-party ad scripts. If that changes, this page will be updated before any such script is introduced.
